A beautiful hardwood carving in the Baphuon style, from the eleventh century temple of Udayaditityavarman II, The ‘Golden Mountain’, which was a monumental five-tiered pyramid atop a raised earthen mound (please see history section for details on Khmer history, temples and deities).
